"M.S.W.R." Various sizes!

As you can see all sizes works..

The little ones are "virtually undestructibles"
and do not require parachute recovery.

they 'all" go straight up fast...And down too !
So for the middle sized  ones (better diameter /lenght ratio)
choose a soft surface,  use some kind of shock absorber, or a parachute.

The really big fat ones tend to float towards the ground if they are not heavily nose weighted.
An interesting variation is to use "Jetisonable nose weight"
fill the nose with "a bit" (Experiment with the quantity !) of water then leave the cap off.
the added weight help the rocket gain altitude.
Once the job is done and upon rotation the water has just enough time to get out on the way down.
The drag then takes over slowing down the rocket which recovers from the dive and tumbles to the ground.
you need a bit of time to make it work. Therefore time = altitude = pressure... About 120 Psi.

Note: be careful adding some "hard"  nose weight .
I shot a golf ball early on at more than a 100 meters !!!  And lost sight of it on it's way up !
It was a run for your life thing until touch down..:-(
